5 DELICIOUS DINNER RECIPES to support your weight loss:
CARROT CAKE GRANOLA
3 cups of gluten-free rolled oats
1 cup of unsweetened applesauce
3 cups of banana purée (made from 4-5 VERY RIPE bananas depending on their size)
4 cups loosely packed raw shredded carrots (about 10 ounces)
2-3 Tablespoon Cinnamon (I prefer a Saigon Cassia from Local Spicery)
2-3 teaspoon vanilla powder
1.5 cups yellow raisins
Finely chop the shredded carrots. Puree the bananas. Mix everything together until fully incorporated.
Place 4 cups of the wet mixture on a dehydrator tray fitted with a Teflex sheet and dehydrate at desired temperature about 2 hours until the top is dry to the touch. Break granola into the size pieces you desire, flip over, and remove the Teflex sheet. Continue drying directly on the screen for another 2-8 hours or until the desired level of crunchiness is achieved.
