How to Make Broccoli Ranch Salad Dairy Free

This is a delicious salad that we both loved and it’s gluten-free and dairy-free!!

2-3 heads of fresh broccoli
1/2 Cup Mayo and 1/2 Cup Miricle Whip
1/2 finely diced onion
2 T. or 1 packet ranch dressing mix. (Remember the HV has milk in it)
2 T. sugar or sugar sub
1t. pepper
1/2 t. salt
1/2 C. Real bacon bits
1/2 to 1 jalapeno to your taste
Zest of 1/2 lemon
1 T. lemon juice
2 T. red wine vinegar
1/2 C. dried cherries (or raisins or dried fruit of your choice)
1/2 nuts (I used pumpkin seeds)
1/2 C. parsley or cilantro
Milk for thinning the dressing
Remove the florets from stalks of broccoli set to the side
Add the mayo and miracle whip, dried ranch seasoning, onion, sugar, salt, pepper, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, bacon bits, and jalapeno in a bowl. Stir and let sit for 15 minutes to hydrate the dry ingredients.
If at 15 minutes, it has gotten thicker, add a little milk of your choice.
Add dried cherries, pumpkin seeds, zest of lemon, parsley, and dressing mix into broccoli.
Mix well and put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
