Birthday Cake Protein Cookies!

Ingredients: (Makes 16-18 cookies!)
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup whey vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
5 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup sprinkles, optional

1. In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, protein powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. After the butter is cooled enough, add the egg and vanilla extract and whisk to combine.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir with a spatula or your hands until fully incorporated.
5. Fold in the sprinkles.
6. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes to overnight.
7. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
8. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and scoop out tbsp sized balls onto the prepared cookie sheet leaving space for them to expand. (I cooked about half of the cookies in each batch.)
9. Bake 10-12 minutes.
10. Let cool a couple minutes on the cookie sheet and then move them to a cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy!!!

These cookies are so tasty!!! They really do taste like Birthday Cake plus they are loaded with protein from the protein powder! Next time I will probably double the recipe to make more because they will go fast! Thanks for watching!

Hey everyone nut free mama here today I'm going to show you how to make Birthday cake protein cookies Okay let's start off with our Ingredients first you need 2 3 cup of All-purpose flour 1 3 cup of whey Vanilla protein powder one half cup plus One tablespoon of granulated sugar one Teaspoon of baking powder a half a Teaspoon of salt five tablespoons of Butter and we are going to melt that one Egg one teaspoon of vanilla extract and Then if you want to add some fun Sprinkles I'm going to use these rainbow Sprinkles so let's go ahead and get Started in a large bowl we're going to Whisk the flour protein powder sugar Baking powder and salt okay that is nice And combined so next we are going to Melt our butter in the in a microwavable Safe Bowl Um probably about 30 seconds or so until It's melted all right my butter is um Melted but now I have to let it cool a Bit before I add the egg and vanilla Extract Um so you might want to actually do that Step before you whisk this stuff Together just to save you a little bit Of time for the cooling all right I Added my vanilla and My Egg to my melted Butter that was cooled off and now I Just gave it a good whisk and we're Gonna pour the wet into the dry

Ingredients all right that looks good I Just used my spatula and at the end I Just used my hands to really incorporate That so next we are going to go ahead And add in some sprinkles I think I'm Going to do probably about half a cup And just fold those in nicely All right I actually just added in a Fourth a cup a half a cup would be way Way way too much but these look so Pretty so I'm going to go ahead and Cover this and you want to refrigerate It for 30 minutes to overnight All right I just removed my dough from The refrigerator it was in there about An hour and I preheated my oven to 350 And lined a cookie sheet with parchment Paper now we're going to take a Tablespoon size balls and just line them On our parchment paper All right my first batch of cookies is Ready to go into the oven and I just Basically um kind of flattened them a Little bit with my hands because they Are pretty hard from being in the Refrigerator I just didn't want them to Be too puffed up while they're baking Because I just wanted them to bake Evenly so we are going to go ahead and Get these in the oven for 12 to 13 Minutes and you should be able to get 16. all right all of my cookies are out Of the oven this is my first batch that I did let it stay in for 12 minutes and
